Hazel McLoughlin

Hazel’s path to bodywork started at a young age. As a child she was drawn to the power of touch and its capacity to heal and create deep connection.

About

At the age of 22, a tragic family loss and consequent autoimmune issues pushed her deeper into her own healing journey. She began studying yoga and osteopathy in Barcelona, attracted by its more holistic approach to healing and manual therapy.

Two years into her osteopathy studies she discovered the field of cranial sacral studies. She found herself fascinated by the bodies capacity to heal when held with deep listening and gentle touch.

Hazel began studying extensively with the Upledger Institute for four years and went on to complete a training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. She is particularly drawn to autoimmune conditions and teaching people the transformational effect of embodiment.

Hazel also draws from her studies of trauma therapy, somatic movement practice, Bonny Bainsbridge Cohen’s BMC, Gabor Mate’s Compassionate inquiry, Somatic IFS and a 20-year yoga practice.
